This policy explains how the standalone Phased Array PAUT scan viewer Android app, published by HQ NDT Inspection Pty Ltd, handles files and information.
Last updated: 7 September 2026Phased Array PAUT scan viewer does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information with HQ NDT Inspection Pty Ltd or third parties.
The app contains no advertising or analytics service and does not use an advertising identifier.
You can select supported .nde and .odat inspection files through the Android system document picker. The app reads the file you select so it can display the scan on your device. The file is not uploaded to an HQ NDT server or shared with another service by the app.
Files remain under the control of the storage location or document provider you selected. The two demonstration scans supplied with the app are packaged app content and do not contain your information.
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera or microphone. It does not provide cloud synchronisation or sign-in.
The app may keep local preferences or an app-local reference needed to restore its interface. This information stays in the app's Android storage area and is not sent to HQ NDT Inspection Pty Ltd.
Because the app does not create an account or retain a server copy of your files, there is no account or server-held app data to request from us or ask us to delete.
You can remove app-local data using Android's Clear storage control or by uninstalling the app. Clearing or uninstalling the app does not delete the original inspection files from the storage location you selected. Android's application sandbox is used to separate app-local data from other apps. You remain responsible for securing the device and the inspection files you open.
Phased Array PAUT scan viewer is a professional inspection-data viewing tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
If the app's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the changed behaviour is released.
